ELL Teacher
- Teach ELL class two mornings a week.
- Administer tests – TABE CLAS-E, CASAS
- Daytime and evening hours as needed
- Maple Woods and MS locations
- Record and track student pre and posttests
- Enter and track student progress
- Communicate regularly with teachers and director regarding attendance hours and concerns, upcoming posttests, etc.
- Sub for ELL teachers as needed
- Conduct rolling orientations for ELL students
- Create and maintain student testing folders
Requirements:
- Must hold a 4-year college degree from DESE accepted institution
- Must obtain AEL Certification
- Must complete training to conduct TABE CLAS-E tests
Schedule:
- Approximately 6 hours per week
- May vary weekly depending on testing needs

Date Available: ASAP
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The individual who holds this position is regularly required to walk, hear and speak and must have close moderate and distance vision ability. This individual must be able to travel between district facilities. The position requires a moderate amount of travel and physical activity.
CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is consistent with typical office/school environment.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work calendar to be established by the Board Of Education. Benefits according to Board policies.
FLSA: Non-Exempt

CLEARANCES: Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluations utilizing the Performance Based Administrator Evaluation process.
